Currently hard (?!) at work on my first novel, Who Makes the Grass Green? A novel of memory loss, snipers, gnosticism, undeclared love and corridors. Thomas Kindred wakes up in the Rooms. He has no idea where he is or even who he is. He certainly doesn't recognise any of the people in there with him. Kindred soon learns that this is repeated every morning and that whatever happens today, he will not remember it tomorrow. In addition to some bizarre fellow 'inmates' there is an absent observer who seems to know all about Kindred's past. With everybody's motives a mystery, he must connect with his past and future selves to discover who and where he is. And - assuming it's possible - escape. | ~ In between other projects (and whenever I want to bunk off) I have been known to write the odd short story. One of the odder ones has already been published (read an excerpt here), but some of the other ones that I'm putting out there feature:

Jack Rowan is a real dog and fictional detective. Or possibly the other way around. Either way, he's the star of Jack Rowan Investigates the
first in the Dalmatian Detective series of children's books, currently
doing the rounds of various publishers and literary agents looking for a good home. Find Jack Rowan on Facebook, I'm sure he'd like to be your friend. |
